I will be plucking my two dollars from my pocket and folding it in a crisp envelope as a lottery pool begins. I will take two dollars from my father and as the group has pled, ask him to work his Midas Touch on the pool.  He is allowed to touch all the money or do a small Indian luck dance around it. They really have no preference. Just spread his amazing luck. And luck the man does have. It is nothing unusual to have him calmly tell me he hit pick three. He hit it just last week in fact.

As I sat and had lunch with my father today, and he gave me two dollars and a small smile. I first hand witnessed him win a lottery 25 years ago. I watched wonderful things happen for him and our family. I smile as I continue the tradition and another lottery pool is formed.Furthermore, because I am feeling generous.
