The Fabric of my life shows up in my pictures and smiles of my family. To obtain the most positive life that you can you will have obstacles and with sorrow there will be profound teachings. I ended my night yesterday as I wanted to thank some of those around me. I pulled out my rusty old blog to help me remind the ones of how proud I am of them. I start first with my mother- the person that wants to make the sadness of life go away and replaces it with her wisdom and love. To my neice, Cassandra who has had a difficult two months and bore more greif than a young adult should. She is at rest from surgery today and I hold her heart in mine, hoping that healing comes quickly in all aspects of her live. I am proud of my brother Jeff that ran a dream with the New York Marathon. I am always uplifted by the strong women in my family and the kindness of the men. We often live in a bubble of our own emotions and I was coaught up last night when I wanted to thank my new boss. I ventured into writing again, and I stumble slowly into healing from the loss of my father. My new grandsons bring me quick smiles and show me my future that is ahead. I thank old friends for showing me  the teachings of Abraham Hicks and find that a little meditation goes along way. For those that I have hurt along the way, I apologize for selfishness in  my own journey. My fabric of life, I hope will mature into a positive and loving one for all that I am lucky enough to embrace.

An exerpt from The Book:

It was Fourth of July  and the neighborhood block party was in full swing. The kids had pink noses from the sun.
The food was plentiful. Picnic tables still had the crumbs of fried chicken and apple pie. Watermelon had been cut and seeds that were missed by the warm cleaning cloth were now drawing flies.

The sun was beginning to set and the children asking for sparklers.

" I want to do three at once" One little girl chanted twirling her sparklers.
"Now everyone stand back, we are going to light them one at a time." Ophelia commanded.
"You really think you should be lighting a fire? Ron asked nervously.
"I am quite capable of doing sparklers. Right Mae?" Ophelia asked in the direction of her neighbor.
"I would hope so.. It's just things happen so unexpectd with you."Mae said hestitantly.......

Family... A tribute to my son-in law who is having a birthday and I decided that a card I could pick out a present I could buy... but to tell him what it means to me to have him as a son-in law maybe might last a little longer. When I first met Gabe we all went to a Italian restaurant in Indy. It was a moment that of course I sized him up. Okay good looking...Great handshake...Smile award winning but.. would he make my daughter happy.Through the moments of being a family is not always easy.. there is life that pushes at couples and with Erica and Gabe they have had alot in a short time. He did not marry into a big Italian  family but we sure know how to talk with our hands and create the noise. Through that noise Gabe has risen  with us laughed and became a part of our family that I cannot imagine what it would be without him. From Sammy calling out.. HEY BABE.. I want to listen to my music... to listening to Chae and Gabe talk and feel the smiles when they speak.. to the hugs that he gives so freely.. to the love that he has given us all.. So my son-in law your stuck with us. We can't imagine anything better than having you in  our lives. Have a wonderful day and we are all behind you as a family as you start your new business. Happy Birthday and  can't wait for more memories and happiness to come!
