We watched the first snowflake on October 15th and  Fall began to give way to the much stronger Winter of 2013-14. Snowflakes still fell in March and the winds of  a strong  Winter pushes spring back a bit each day. The apple blossoms of last year gave way to a bountiful crop of apples. The tree limb so full my granddaughter stood nestles in the leaves. With winter so unforgiving the tree limb broke and was stripped bare by rabbits over the winter. The winter clean up has begun with leaves, and tree limbs throughout the yard. The strong winds of today kept me from any further clean up. Yet... tonight thunder rumbles and before the sun had set I noticed a tulip sticking through the ground. The bright color of Robins covering the yard that has started to show signs of green. Tonight bring on the rain for yet promises of a bright and sunny Spring!
